Exercise at Home – Basic Yoga
Yoga is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body, and to feel beautiful inside.

Begin with the Mountain. With your palms forward, stand tall and stretch out of your spine feeling the energy up to your fingertips. Breathe in and stretch up. Bring your arms out and extend forward from the hip. Drop your head and press your chest to the thighs. Lift the tailbone to the sky and draw your abs in and press out through the thighs. Bend your knees if you have to and don’t let your hands hang. Then look up and pull your shoulders away from your ears with legs straight. Extend your neck and head as an extension of your spine and don’t look up or down.

Bend at your knee joints, sit back on your heels and lift your arms up and pull your shoulder blades down. Open the chest and extend energy out through your fingertips, pressing weight out through your heels, lifting yourself up, straightening and exhale down.

Intro to yoga is quite simple. A few minutes every day is a great start and you’ll feel the benefits straight away.
