In the west people can often think of Yoga as being upside down and standing on
your head. That may be part of Yoga, but it's not all of it. There are a lot of
exercises to get you strong and flexible and to reconnect you with your mind,
body and spirit. In this episode we look at the Triangle pose.
The Triangle Pose is the quintessential standing pose in many styles of Yoga.
You build up strength in the lower back and upper legs while you remove tension
from the lower and upper back, the hips and the hamstrings through both the
twist and the stretching. The exercise is good for your sense of coordination
and sense of balance, but you need a lot of concentration and precision to be
able to carry it out correctly.
