Shur-Line - Setting Up a Painting Kit

If this is your first time painting, its probably best you buy all the products you need in one hit. This will save you time, and money in the long run.

You'll need things like a three inch flat brush, a small angled brush for the corners, drop cloths, Spac filler to fill cracks in the walls, turps, painting tape, rollers and a rolling tray

LUKES tip. Shur-Line brushes and rollers are coated with a Teflon surface protector. They pick up the paint and release it onto the wall a lot easier than normal brushes. That means less time to refill the paint tray and better coverage on the wall.

The Teflon helps with clean up too. Just like cookware, the brushes and rollers rinse clean really easily. And the paint tray? Just let the paint dry and you can peel it off! Saving you time, and water...

Once you have your tools, it's time to choose your paint. You'll need to measure the square footage of the surface you're going to paint so you know how much you need. Then you'll have to pick a colour, a finish, and a shade.
