Jumping is a great form of exercise, 10 minutes a day is roughly the same as
running for half an hour. So not only is it fun, it's great for your body.
Traditionally trampolines have included dangerous springs and steel frames, and
a great risk of injury. After a thorough production design and careful testing
Springfree has created a trampoline which greatly eliminates the risk of injury
while you're having fun. No springs, no frame at the jumping surface and a
flexible enclosure remove the risk of all those traditional trampoline injuries,
like jumping into the spring holes, onto the steel frame or being propelled off
the mat.
Springfree Trampolines have a flexible enclosure made of Flexinet. Flexinet is a
fundamental component of the Springfree Trampoline. Laboratory tests show that
the Flexinet enclosure can 'catch' up to 100kg travelling at a velocity of
25km/h before impact with the ground. Instead of using dangerous steel poles to
hold up the net around trampoline, non-corrodible flexible fibre glass poles are
used. This means if the jumper goes near the edge of the trampoline they are
gentle propelled back into the centre of the matt (on traditional trampolines
they're often just redirected onto the hard springs).
The mat uses flexible fibre glass rods that click into cleats at the side of the
mat. No springs are used which removes the risk of serious injury from using
springs. Springfree trampoline's frame is positioned beneath the jumping
surface, with the rod and cleat system forming a soft edge (SET Technology)
design, so there is nothing hard in the jumping surface. This makes the
Springfree trampoline one of the safest in the world and comes recommended by Dr
Susan Adams from child safety watchdog, Kidsafe.
