Teaching our kids how to be environmentally responsible is an important step in reducing global warming. Getting them involved with the environment and making it lots of fun will help foster a positive relationship between them and the earth. Holiday camps are great way of doing this, they cater for children all ages and importantly are great fun!

These programs are designed to promote environmental education and foster a love of the outdoors by getting involved in activities like archery, canoeing, abseiling, bushwalking, ropes courses, swimming and cookouts. There are loads of new winter programs for your kids to pick from, that are be both entertaining and educational.

Contact your local state or council for a list of holiday camps and activities that are going on around your area. The NSW Sports and Recreation Centre have several great holiday camps for children to choose from. One of these camps are held at the Sydney Academy of Sports, they have amazing sporting facilities and great range of outdoor activities, run by professional and experienced staff members.

These outdoor activities are specially designed to be fun, active, physically and mentally challenging, and to teach them about the environment.
